Microsoft’s Strong Q4 Performance Leads to One-Time Cash Awards for Employees

Microsoft is giving a special one-time cash award to its employees up to 25% of their annual bonus. This reward is for all salaried and hourly workers below the senior director level. Junior employees can get up to 25% of their bonus, while senior directors can earn up to 10% depending on their performance.

This announcement follows a strong fourth quarter for Microsoft with a 15% increase in revenue compared to last year and a 16% rise for the full fiscal year. This is a big improvement from the 7% growth seen in fiscal 2023. The company’s stock has also gone up 26% in the past year beating the Nasdaq’s 20% increase. The awards are meant to be significant for employees at all levels showing appreciation for their hard work, according to the report of CNBC.
