If it passes, it would bring in about $2.4 million each year. The city would use this money to fix roads, help with emergencies, and take care of other important things.

The city has had some big expenses lately, like fixing damage from a big storm and building a new shelter for people who don’t have homes. The city’s cannabis business has also been struggling, which has reduced its income. To make up for this, the city needs more money to keep providing services to its growing population.
