According to TheSuns, The government has started a new program to help families buy food for their kids during the summer. The program is called Sun Bucks. It gives an extra $120 to families with school-aged children to help with grocery bills.

Families who already get food stamps or have kids who get free or reduced-price lunches at school are automatically signed up for Sun Bucks. But families who don’t get these benefits can still apply. To apply, families need to give some basic information like their child’s name, school, and address, and tell how much money they make.

What Can You Buy with Sun Bucks?

Sun Bucks can be used at many different stores, like grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and online retailers. Families can use them to buy things like fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products, and snacks. The program is available in 56 states and places across the country.
