According to the center square, The state of Illinois is making it easier for companies to make clean energy products. A new law was passed in the House that gives businesses millions of dollars in tax breaks. This will help attract companies that make electric vehicles, hovercrafts and microchips. The government thinks this will bring in a lot of new money and create thousands of jobs over the next 30 years.

Illinois has the best drive-in movie theaters in the country! Two local drive-ins Skyview Drive-In in Belleville and Harvest Moon Drive-In in Gibson City, were ranked as the top two best drive-ins by USA Today. There are not many drive-ins left so this is a big deal for Illinois. Americans loved these drive-ins and voted for them to be the best.

The Illinois Department of Transportation is hosting a photo contest. They want Americans to take pictures of transportation in action, like biking, walking or taking public transit. The contest is open until June 7 and three finalists will be chosen to compete online. The winner will be chosen by Americans who vote online.
