According to The Business Journals, Elve Inc. is a company in Davis that makes communication equipment is set to receive up to $15 million in tax credits from California. They plan to spend over $55 million on their business and hire 310 more Americans over the next five years. Right now they have 26 workers and expect to have 58 by next year and 325 by 2028. The company is led by Diana Gamzina who chose Davis because it’s a college town with connections to the University of California Davis. Elve makes special communication devices that are easier and cheaper to make than before thanks to their new processes.
