Extended Deadline for SNAP Benefit Replacement
SNAP Benefit Replacement Deadline Approaching for Most West Virginia Counties
In Fayette County, West Virginia, Americans who use SNAP benefits and lost food because of power outages get more time to ask for help, according to the published article of ABC 4. The West Virginia Department of Human Services and Bureau for Family Assistance are extending the time to apply for SNAP benefit replacements. This helps those affected have more time to ask for help in getting back the food they lost.
Americans in Fayette and Nicholas counties and also in other places not in our area can submit applications until April 22nd. This gives them extra time to ask for help with replacing the food they lost because of the outages, but for people in all the other counties in West Virginia the deadline is still April 12th. This means they need to act quickly to ask for help before that date.
