According to the report of THE BLADE, in northwest Ohio the Ohio Tax Credit Authority has given the green light to two big projects to help the economy and create jobs. Vehtek Systems Inc. which makes car parts is opening up in Bowling Green. They plan to hire 120 people full-time and add $5.9 million to the local economy every year. They are focusing on making parts for electric cars which will give a boost to the car industry in the area.

Norplas Industries Inc. Receives Economic Assistance for Rossford Expansion Bolstering Ohio Manufacturing Sector and Job Market

Another company Norplas Industries Inc. is getting ready to start in Rossford. They want to hire 140 full-time workers and add $6.3 million in new yearly payroll. They specialize in making car parts too and they really excited about making battery cases and trays. Both of these projects are not only creating jobs but also showing that Ohio is investing in new technology and making its manufacturing industry stronger. Overall there are 11 projects approved across Ohio and these two are a big part of it for northwest Ohio. Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted have announced these projects showing they are committed to helping businesses grow and creating more jobs. These efforts are not only about getting people to work but also about making Ohio a leader in innovation and keeping its economy strong.
