These grants, provided by the state, aim to support companies in expanding or relocating to Tennessee, ultimately boosting job creation and raising average wages in the area. Oregon-based Bridgetown Chooses Wilson County for New $78.3M Facility Amid Economic Growth Push in Tennessee
This grant follows previous incentive awards from the state, totaling $8.8 million in early March, alongside $2.8 million in FastTrack grants for the initial two months of 2023. Bridgetown, headquartered in Oregon, will establish its second facility outside of its home state in Wilson County. The company’s plans for the new facility include the annual production of nearly 100 million pounds of its all-natural, organic, and gluten-free snack brands. Despite debates surrounding the efficacy of financial incentives, Bridgetown’s expansion highlights the ongoing efforts to attract businesses and stimulate economic growth in Tennessee.
