In a published article by ABC7 New York, a man named Tuzzo noticed a card skimming device on a key fob at a store.

He recognized the device from YouTube videos, pulled it off, and held onto it until the police arrived. Customers are grateful for his awareness but upset that their information could have been stolen.

Some are now hesitant to use their ATM or credit cards at the store. The owners of Dollar Tree have not yet commented on the situation.
