According to the report of FOX 31, Residents of the Sonoma Resort at Saddle Rock apartment complex in Aurora are facing a problem with their mailboxes. They been broken for a while and it is making them worried about their mail being stolen especially during tax refund season when theft is common. Some mailboxes have even been broken into adding to residents stress. Even though their mail has been kept safe at a nearby post office that’s not a long-term solution and residents are unsure what to do next.

Property Management Promises Action Amid Security Concerns

The property management company said they are working on getting new mailboxes that meet the postal service rules. But it might take a while for them to arrive and be installed. This is frustrating for residents who are already feeling anxious about their mail security. The company says  sorry for the inconvenience and want to help but experts say it’s ultimately the landlord job to fix the mailboxes. Residents should keep track of any damage to make sure the landlord takes responsibility. They know they have to watch out for thieves especially now.
