False Instagram Post

An Instagram post falsely claims that New York City is giving out prepaid debit cards worth up to $10,000 to illegal immigrants with no ID checks or restrictions.

In reality, which is way different from the said Instagram post, the pilot program only provides migrant families with around $1,400 initially for necessities, with a maximum of $10,000 that is practically impossible to reach.

The cards, being talked about in the said Instagram post, can only be used for food and supplies at specific stores, have fraud protections, and require ID checks during the intake process.

According to a published article by SmartNews, the claim in the said Instagram post that taxpayer money is being distributed without controls is untrue.

While many loved the photos, one showing her sitting on a chair with fake money on the floor received backlash from netizens. They criticized her for disrespecting money and Mahatma Gandhi.

Giorgia Andriani recently made headlines for her breakup with Arbaaz Khan, who has since married Shura Khan in a private ceremony.
