Even with a voucher landlords can still say no. This makes it hard for people to find a home and some landlords do want to help out. Its not fair and groups like Auberle are trying to help tenants find places to live. They upset that its taking too long for the Housing Authority to help out tenants and landlords. With the deadline coming up and more than 20,000 applications expected its clear that Pittsburgh still has a big housing problem because of COVID-19 and we need to find better ways to help people find affordable homes.
