According to the report of KCCI, in a surprising twist the Fort Dodge Community School District decided to give bonus to all its workers to deal with the lack of staff. They didn’t say how much yet. This move comes as many schools in Iowa are struggling to find enough people to work. Lawmakers are trying to help by considering a bill in the Senate to give more money to schools for salaries.

Authorities Investigate Nationwide Crime Ring
Meanwhile, in Minnesota two people from Texas got caught stealing expensive calculators. They took about $20,000 worth of calculators from seven stores. The police caught them leaving a Target store with $5,000 worth of stolen calculators. This made the police think they might be part of a bigger group stealing calculators all over the country. As the police investigate there finding out more about this calculator theft ring. They stole calculators from different places like Eagan, Apple Valley, and West Saint Paul. Even though stealing calculators might sound weird it’s a serious crime. The police are working hard to catch everyone involved and stop more thefts.
