According to Yahoo News, Oregon taxpayers who recently filed their Oregon Credit tax online, will get their refunds quickly. The Oregon Department of Revenue is sending out Oregon Credit tax refunds right after they finish processing returns. This is different from before when there used to be delays. They started giving out Oregon Credit tax refunds for this year’s taxes on February 12.

Oregon’s Kicker Tax Credit Returns $5.61 Billion to Residents
If you choose direct deposit when filing online you’ll get your Oregon Credit tax refund fastest. Usually, you’ll get your money two weeks earlier than if you filed on paper. Most people get their refunds within two weeks but if your taxes are complicated it might take up to 16 weeks. You can check your Oregon Credit tax refund status online using the “Where’s My Refund?” tool. Oregon is giving back $5.61 billion through the kicker tax credit this year. The state has already processed over 615,000 returns which is about 28% of what they expect to get for 2024. They’ve given out around 480,000 refunds totaling $1 billion. As more people file their taxes Oregonians can expect quick and efficient processing making tax time easier.
