Grants For People With Disabilities

Around 7 million recipients receive Social Security benefits every month as grants for people with disabilities. The Social Security benefits are also given to retirees, the needy, widows, and survivors.

The benefit amount given as grants for people with disabilities and other recipients is adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index. This saw an increase resulting in an amount of $1800 as grants for people with disabilities and other pensioners.

Social Security Payments are distributed by the IRS and Federal Government to people with disabilities and other eligible recipients based on income and tax credits from their best 35 years of employment.

According to a published article by IT Gujarat,  to be eligible for a $1800 Social Security payment, individuals must be 62 or older,  have income below the Federal Poverty Line,  have total resources below $2000,  have a disability with medical proof,  be a U.S. citizen,  and have Social Security number.

Last Wednesday Of January

In a published article by Diario AS,  the last Wednesday of January is a little different as it is the fifth Wednesday of the month and all payments have already been made in the previous weeks.

Supplemental Security Income benefits are paid on the first of every month, while Social Security benefits are distributed on the first three Wednesdays of every month.
