SSDI Payments Distributed By The Social Security Administration

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) provides almost seven million Americans with income. SSDI payments are dispersed by the Social Security Administration (SSA) on Wednesdays each month, depending on your date of birth.

The payments distributed by the Social Security Administration arrive directly into your bank account. In February, beneficiaries born between the 1st and 10th will receive their payment from the Social Security Administration on Wednesday, February 14.

If you receive SSDI payments that are dispersed by the Social Security Administration and are based on someone else’s work record, your payment will arrive on the same day as the original beneficiary.

SSDI payments distributed from the Social Security Administration for those born between the 11th and 20th will be dispersed on February 21, and those born between the 21st and 31st will receive payment on February 28.

People who started receiving SSDI benefits which were distributed by the Social Security Administration before May 1997 receive their payment on the 3rd of each month.

According to a published article by Marca.com, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries receive their payment between the 1st and 3rd of the month.

If you don’t receive your payment from the Social Security Administration on the expected date, the Social Security Administration advises waiting three more days before contacting your bank or Social Security office for assistance.

In a published article by CNET, the SSDI payment schedule varies depending on when you begin receiving SSDI. If you started before May 1997, your payment will arrive on the third day of each month, unless that day falls on a weekend or holiday.
