Millions of Americans are waiting for the official announcement of the 4th stimulus check amidst the rising inflation rate and increasing property taxes this tax season. The state of New Jersey will send an amount of $1,500 stimulus check to its eligible residents through the ANCHOR program.
In a published article in MARCA, the ANCHOR Tax Relief Program 2024 aims to provide financial assistance to individuals who meet specific income, residence, and homeownership criteria. This program particularly aims to help residents who are facing challenges in terms of property taxes.

What You Should Know About ANCHOR Program?
According to an article published in NJ Spotlight News, details of the program include the following:
- Homeowners in New Jersey who owned houses in 2019 and had a combined income of $150,000 or less in 2023 will receive the $1,500 rebate.
- Homeowners with family incomes falling between $150,001 and $250,000 will be eligible for a $1,000 benefit.
- Renters with 2019 tax returns showing incomes of $150,000 or less can expect to receive a $450 stimulus check.
Furthermore, eligible residents in the state will receive their payments this January 2024 and they also have an option either to receive the payments by paper check or by direct deposit during the filing process.
