The Alaska Department of Revenue announced that an amount of $1,312 will be sent to eligible residents and taxpayers of the state this December 14, 2023.

Residents and taxpayers in Alaska are a few of the lucky citizens in the country because they will receive an amount of $1,312 in direct payments on December 14, 2023. This is a yearly program of the state under the Permanent Fund Dividend.
In a published article in the Washington Examiner, the state officials said that they have already released two batches of direct payments and the third batch will be this December 14, 2023. Meanwhile, the application started on Jan. 1 to March 31.

Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Released a Statement
According to an article published in The Gazette, Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum said, “The 2023 PFD marks the 42nd year Alaskans have received their share of the state’s natural resource wealth. I would like to thank our Permanent Fund Dividend Division for their tireless work year-round in administering the program and processing the applications.”
He also added, “This year, we processed over 8,000 more applications than in 2022. The 2023 PFD will inject nearly $1 billion into the state’s economy and directly into the hands of Alaskans.”
