Will Social Security Recipients be Eligible for Future Stimulus Checks?

For those who are on Social Security and wondering if they will be considered for future stimulus checks, there is both good news and bad news.

According to Katherine Tierney, a senior retirement strategist at Edward Jones, additional future stimulus checks are not expected to be issued anytime soon. However, if there are more future stimulus checks, Social Security recipients would likely qualify.

According to GoBanking Rates, in the past, there were no minimum income requirements for receiving stimulus payments. Individuals with little or no income were generally eligible as long as their income was below the maximum limit, they were not dependent on another taxpayer, and they had a work-eligible Social Security number.
