SNAP benefit Payment Dates for November and December with the 2025 COLA Boost

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has confirmed important details regarding SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) payments for the upcoming months of November and December 2024. As part of the adjustments for 2025, all recipients will benefit from a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) that began on October 1, 2024. Although the increase is lower than expected, it provides essential support for many beneficiaries.

Understanding the 2025 COLA Increase

Effective from October 1, 2024, recipients of SNAP will receive the new COLA, which is designed to assist families in managing their food budgets amid rising costs. While the increase may not be as substantial as some hoped, it marks a positive step compared to recent reductions experienced in states like Hawaii.

The maximum benefit amounts for SNAP will remain consistent from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, until the new 2026 COLA takes effect. This stability allows recipients to plan their budgets with a degree of certainty.

SNAP Payment Schedule for November 2024

Food Stamps payments will begin to arrive on beneficiaries’ EBT cards on November 1. Some states will distribute all payments in a single paycheck. North Dakota, for example, plans to disburse all SNAP payments on November 1, 2024.
