According to a published article by RoadSnacks, one of the most dangerous places in Tennessee to live in 2024 is Memphis which is Tennessee’s second-largest city with high violent crime and property crime rates.

Dyersburg is also one of the places in Tennessee known for high burglary rates and violent crime, with the sixth highest rate in the state.

Another one of the most dangerous places in Tennessee is Chattanooga, despite its peaceful appearance, crime is common in this city with high violent and property crime rates.

Athens, one of the most known places in Tennessee and the county seat of McMinn County has high property crime rates, three times higher than the national average.

And lastly, another one of the most dangerous places in Tennessee is Nashville which is the capital and the largest city in Tennessee with high violent and property crime rates.

A Recent Incident In Tennessee

In a published article by FOX Weather, a group of 33 kayakers, including children, had to be rescued after strong winds knocked some of them into the water near Nickajack Cave.

Emergency crews had to battle the weather themselves before getting into the water to rescue the kayakers.

Despite poor water conditions, everyone was successfully brought back to shore and no injuries were reported.

Officials credited the use of life jackets for the successful rescue, highlighting their importance in ensuring safety in difficult conditions.
