According to True Crime News, in a heartbreaking turn of events Jameelah Michl has been sentenced to 35 years to life in state prison for the murder of Michael Latt a prominent 33-year-old activist based in Los Angeles. The sentencing, announced by Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón marks the conclusion of a tragic case that unfolded on November 27, 2023. Michl pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree murder first-degree burglary and the use of a firearm after breaking into a home on Alandele Avenue armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Prosecutors revealed that Michl targeted Latt because of his friendship with a woman whom Michl had been stalking. Upon knocking on the door, Michl forced her way in and fatally shot Latt who later died from his injuries in a hospital.
