According to ATLANTA News First, Atlanta police have released dramatic footage of a high-speed chase and arrests related to a shooting in northwest Atlanta. On June 12, around 5 p.m. a 29-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and hand at 142 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW. The victim who was conscious and alert was taken to the hospital. The suspects fled in a blue Tesla. An hour and a half later officers spotted the car five miles away near 10th Street and Techwood Drive leading to a tense chase through the city. The pursuit ended when the driver lost control on Lee Street SW. Police arrested two passengers on the spot, and the driver, who tried to run, was also captured and found with a firearm.
