Jury Delivers Guilty Verdict in Dog-Fueled Murder
Deadly Confrontation Over Canines
Report of TrueCrimeDaily, A jury has found Luis Walker guilty of killing his neighbor in a fight over their dogs. The court found him guilty of second-degree murder, as well as using a gun and harming animals. The incident happened on March 15, 2020, at the Lago Del Sol Apartments. Luis Walker was walking his four dogs when one of his neighbor’s dogs ran up to them. Walker yelled at the neighbor, and things escalated when he got a gun from his apartment and shot the neighbor and his dog.

Defendant’s Alibi Discredited in Court
Luis Walker claimed that the neighbor pulled out a gun and it accidentally went off. He also told police that he went to his apartment to change because he didn’t want to be arrested for wearing sweatpants. However, police found the gun used in the shooting in Luis Walker’s apartment, and the prosecution didn’t believe his story. Luis Walker is scheduled to be sentenced on June 26.
