Shocking Brutal Murder in Lehigh County

A 33-year-old man, David Hittinger, was found brutal murdered and dismembered by his roommate, Joshua Moser.

According to TrueCrimeDaily, The investigation began when Hittinger was reported missing on May 13, and his friends expressed concern as they had planned to celebrate his birthday together. However, he never showed up, and authorities launched a probe into his disappearance.

Police Uncover Evidence of Gruesome Crime

The investigation led police to execute a search warrant at Moser’s home, where they discovered blood evidence, hair, and skin in the basement and bathtub. Further searches revealed a saw, box cutter, bloody clothing, and other items of evidentiary value. Meanwhile, Moser was arrested in Monroe County on an unrelated parole violation. **Tracing the Trail of Blood and Evidence**

A gruesome discovery was made when detectives found some of Hittinger’s remains in trash bags at a cemetery in Slatington. Additional body parts were later found on a trail and at a quarry.

Moser Faces Multiple Charges

Moser has been charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
