Two Girls Escape Abduction Attempt in Moreno Valley, CA
California Man Arrested After Alleged Abduction Attempt of Two Girls
According to True Crime Daily, in Moreno Valley, California a frightening incident unfolded as two young girls were walking to school. On April 24th just around 9:20 in the morning deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station rushed to the area near Cactus Avenue and Perris Boulevard. They received reports of a possible abduction attempt. Two girls not much older than kids themselves told the deputies a chilling event. They said a man later identified as Rene Ramirez approached them in his car while they were making their way to school. What happened next sent shivers down their spines: Rene Ramirez allegedly tried to snatch one of the girls and pull her into his car. Thankfully one of the brave girls managed to break free from Rene Ramirez’s grip and she didn’t give in to fear; she fought back. After escaping she quickly sought help from school officials. They wasted no time in reporting the terrifying encounter to the sheriff’s office. Swift action followed the report. Investigators armed with descriptions provided by the girls scoured the area. Their determination paid off. Not long after around 10:45 a.m. they found Rene Ramirez and his car. He was swiftly taken into custody by the authorities but the ordeal didn’t end there. Rene Ramirez now faces serious charges. He was booked into Riverside County Jail on charges of attempted kidnapping. Additionally he faces charges of annoying and molesting children reflecting the gravity of his alleged actions.
