During a police pursuit in Georgia on April 5, an innocent bystander was killed in a crash caused by the suspect. The suspect who caused the police pursuit was in a Ram 1500 pickup truck colliding with a Dodge Challenger.
The victim of the police pursuit was pronounced dead at the scene. The police pursuit began after the suspect refused to stop for a traffic stop initiated by the Atlanta Police Department.
A suspect led police on a reckless chase on Interstate 285 before crashing into another car at an intersection. The names of those involved have not been revealed.

In a published article by WJCL, during a Friday pursuit in Atlanta, one person was killed after their car was hit by a pickup truck involved in a chase with Georgia State Patrol.
The truck was evading troopers and driving recklessly on I-285. The truck ran a red light, hitting a Dodge Challenger, causing the Challenger driver to be ejected and killed.
