An Arrest Made By The Arkansas State Police
Arkansas State Police arrested a man named Atranik Keshisian. The Arkansas River State Police found nearly 300 pounds of marijuana in his motorhome during a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Crittenden County.
According to a published article by KY3, Keshisian, the man arrested by the Arkansas State Police, was traveling from California to Florida when he was arrested.
The Arkansas State Police charged him with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to register his vehicle with expired tags.
Preparations By The Arkansas State Police
In a published article by thv11.com, state agencies like the Arkansas State Police are preparing for heavy traffic during the total solar eclipse on April 8.
They advise drivers to keep traffic moving by not pulling over or stopping on the interstate during the eclipse. It is recommended to not wear eclipse glasses while driving and to avoid traveling immediately after the eclipse ends.
Make sure to have plenty of food, water, and a full gas tank in case of delays. Turn on your headlights during the eclipse, watch for pedestrians, and check for live traffic conditions.
