A Convicted Felon’s New Criminal Case
37-year-old convicted felon, Crosetti Brand, was arrested for allegedly killing an 11-year-old boy and injuring the child’s mother just one day after being released on parole. The convicted felon allegedly stabbed the victims at their home in Chicago, resulting in the boy’s death and the woman being critically injured.
The convicted felon also has a history of criminal offenses and protective order violations. The convicted felon is now facing multiple charges including first-degree murder and attempted murder.
The 5-year-old son who witnessed the attack by the convicted felon was unharmed but will suffer emotional trauma. The adult victim had a lifetime protective order against the convicted felon.

The man was previously released on parole but returned to the woman’s home and carried out the attack.
