Suspect Charged With First-Degree Manslaughter Following Husband’s Death Who Was Found Months Later In Their Basement In Burlington

First-degree murder and larceny were charged to a woman in Burlington after his husband was found dead in their basement.

First-Degree Manslaughter And Larceny

A 76-year-old woman named Linda Kosuda-Bigazzi pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and larceny to her 84-year-old husband’s death.

The suspect of the first-degree murder and larceny hid his body in their basement.

Aside from pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter and larceny, the suspect also pleaded guilty to stealing money from him.

The victim of the first-degree manslaughter, Pierluigi Bigazzi, was found dead in their home last February 2018, and investigators believe Pierluigi Bigazzi died in July 2017.

Linda Kosuda-Bigazzi, who was charged with first-degree manslaughter and larceny, is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

Additionally, the victim’s employer continued to deposit paychecks into their joint account after his death, totaling around $46,000.

According to a published article by True Crime Daily, the case had been pending for six years before a resolution was reached.

Another First-Degree Manslaughter Case

In a published article by News 12 – Connecticut, Brian North is being tried for manslaughter in the death of 19-year-old Mubarak Soulemane, who was shot seven times following a high-speed chase four years ago.

The jury is deliberating after closing arguments from both sides. Former NYPD officer Darrin Porcher testified that North’s use of deadly force was not justified.
