Vice President Harris Reproductive Freedoms Tour in Phoenix Marred by Attack
Incident in Phoenix, a 30-year-old woman named Anasilvia Gomez-Zamora was arrested for assaulting Vice President Kamala Harris motorcade at the South Mountain Community Center according to the report of KTAR NEWS. She launched a red liquid at the motorcade endangering eight Phoenix Police motor officers. Gomez-Zamora faces charges of assault, endangerment and resisting arrest. Vice President Harris accompanied by Rep. Greg Stanton and Mayor Kate Gallego and visited Phoenix during her Fight for Reproductive Freedoms tour. Initiated on January 22nd, the tour advocates for reproductive rights debatable issue since the repeal of Roe v. Wade. This marked the fourth visit to Arizona by Vice President Harris since her inauguration.
