Mass Jailbreak in Haiti Main Prison, Between Rising Violence and Political Turmoil
According to The Washington Times, Haiti main prison had a big problem with bad people with guns went inside and many prisoners got away. Some people got hurt and 3 others people died. The prison doors were left open and not many guards were there. Almost all the prisoners left leaving behind only a few. Some of the prisoners who stayed are accused of a big crime – they were involved in the killing of Haiti’s president. Families of the prisoners were worried and came to check if their loved ones were okay. The situation in Haiti is very bad because of fighting between gangs and problems with the government.

Haiti’s Leader Seeks Help Among Violence
The leader of Haiti, Ariel Henry, was not in the country when this happened. He was asking other countries for help. But back home there is a lot of violence and confusion. Haiti needs help to become safer and for people to have a better life.
