Nightclub Security Guard in Alabama Hookah Lounge Charged with Murder After Fatal Shooting
According to WBRC News report, Arron Dewayne Hill, 35 years old, was apprehended on Sunday morning after the tragic shooting that transpired on Sunday at the Cru Lounge situated on Highway 69 South in Tuscaloosa.
The victim, later identified as 28-year-old Rashid Little, succumbed to gunshot wounds after an altercation with the security guard. An additional individual, Thyais Walker, 47 years old, has been apprehended concerning the gunshot incident.
Tuscaloosa police responded to the nightclub around 3 a.m. and found Little deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. According to witnesses, he was unarmed and was allegedly shot during a confrontation with Hill. Capt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa County’s Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) stated that Hill, a contract security guard at the establishment, fled the scene after the shooting but was apprehended later that morning. Walker, who was present at the lounge during the incident, was also taken into custody after being interviewed by the police.

Following a comprehensive investigation of the “very large crime scene” and numerous interviews with witnesses and suspects, authorities executed search warrants and apprehended three individuals. Each of the three individuals was charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.
