On the evening of January 3, just before 9 p.m., Springfield Township police took action after observing Fogarty exhibiting signs of impairment while behind the wheel. An officer noticed her vehicle swerving over the median on Massillon Road, prompting him to initiate a traffic stop.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer quickly discovered troubling evidence. Inside Fogarty’s car, a stash of plastic baggies, controlled substances, and a significant sum of $24,608.69 in cash were uncovered. The discovery raised suspicions about potential involvement in illicit activities. The assortment of drugs found was diverse, comprising over 600 prescription pills, suggesting a broad range of substances in Fogarty’s possession.
