Tatum Hatch, High School teacher, Charged of Molestating and Sending Explicit Messages To A Minor
In a shocking turn of events, Tatum Hatch, a 32-year-old former West Monroe High School teacher, was arrested this week for sexting a 15-year-old pupil. The sheriff’s office began investigating on December 15, 2023, after an anonymous report concerning Hatch’s alleged inappropriate interaction with the pupil.
Hatch allegedly sent the student sexually graphic messages, wanted his virginity, and molested him while her kid slept in the car. She took the student from his house and groped his genitals in her car. Hatch’s increased role seems to have ignored the school’s aim to enrich students’ lives.
The school has not commented on Hatch’s arrest. After the investigation, the school board confirmed Hatch’s resignation on December 26 and removed her portrait from the faculty directory. Police called the 15-year-old student’s father after discovering the alleged relationship lasted a year and a half.

Hatch’s Instagram messages to the student, which deputies located on his phone, revealed her desire to have sex with him and asked him to come through her bedroom window. Hatch also used the app’s “vanish mode” to send the student naked photos.
Hatch is in charge of a photography business and likes it. It is said that she took a different picture to email to the student. Also, Hatch is said to have paid the student “between $500 and $600” after hearing a story about the boy. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office charged Hatch with computer-aided solicitation of a minor. He paid a $10,000 bond and got out of jail on January 4. She has court on Friday at 1:30 PM.
