California police arrested an ex-rock musician on Tuesday after finding dead bodies while seeking his girlfriend.
Former Mr. Bungle member Theo Lengyel is suspected of murdering and missing his spouse.
Former Mr. Bungle member Theo Lengyel, 54, was arrested for first-degree murder in the disappearance of Alyx Kamakaokalani. Kamakaokalani’s December 3 missing inquiry landed Lengyel in Santa Cruz County Jail.
After investigating Kamakaokalani’s disappearance, Capitola and El Cerrito police found foul activity. The lead suspect, Lengyel, was a person of interest. In Berkeley’s Tilden Regional Park, detectives found human remains in the woods. The Contra County Coroner’s Office is testing the remains’ DNA.
Lengyel, nicknamed “Mylo Stone,” became famous after Kamakaokalani’s red Toyota Highlander SUV was seen outside his El Cerrito home. He reportedly opposed the investigation. Lengyel was arrested by police and detectives. Human remnants bolstered suspicions.

The tragedy reveals Mr. Bungle and Lengyel’s past disputes.
Capitola Police apologized to Kamakaokalani’s family, and friends revealed the occurrence. Since investigators have not given a motive, the purported killing raises doubts.
Lengyel played clarinet, saxophone, and keyboards in the experimental rock band Mr. Bungle in the 1990s. One member said Lengyel’s lack of musical advancement caused conflicts and displeasure, so the band unanimously fired him.
