Man Allegedly Uses a Box Cutter to Attempt to Kill a Coworker at an Amazon Warehouse in Las Vegas

A man was arrested for allegedly using a box cutter to attempt to kill a coworker at an Amazon warehouse in Las Vegas.

Verbal Altercation at an Amazon Warehouse

A verbal altercation over a joke led a man to attempt to kill his coworker at an Amazon warehouse in Las Vegas. Police authorities arrested and identified the suspect as Kenneth Durhal who is now facing attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon.

In a published article in FOX News, the incident happened on October 12 around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect and the victim were eating together along with other workers in the Amazon warehouse. The victim cracked a joke that upset the suspect and led to the incident.

Suspect Used a Box Cutter

According to a published report in Newstral, the suspect told the victim to go with him to the locker room to have a chat. Unknowingly, the suspect took a box cutter from his locker and started striking and cutting the victim. The victim also claimed that he received lacerations to his neck and head.

Furthermore, investigators obtained a surveillance video that captured the incident. On the next day, the police authorities arrested the suspect at his residence. During the investigation, Durhal’s statement was inconsistent.  Meanwhile, he was ordered to stay away from the victim and he will appear in Clark County Justice Court on Oct. 31.
