A 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death by another teen on Staten Island on Friday afternoon, according to police authorities.

Police authorities confirmed that a 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death by another teen at around 2:00 p.m. on an MTA bus at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Littlefield Avenue. Witnesses said that two boys were arguing in the bus when one of them flashed a knife.
In a published article in GOTHAMIST, NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said that at some point during the argument, a 13-year-old boy was stabbed and the suspect ran away from the crime scene. A retired police followed the suspect and detained him until the police authorities arrived.

13-Year-Old Boy Died, Bus Driver Witnessed the Heinous Incident
According to a published article in Yahoo News, the 13-year-old boy died from severe injuries. Chell said during a press conference on Friday that it was a very tragic homicide and the bus driver who also witnessed the crime was shaken by the incident.
Senior Vice President, of New York City Transit Demetrius Crichlow said, “He’s visibly broken up about what transpired but was able to maintain his calm, notified the communications, contacted the police rapidly and did a fantastic job in trying to maintain calm on the bus.”
