Trump’s Legal Woes

Legal woes pertaining to his alleged mishandling of classified documents after his post as well as an alleged attempt to subvert the 2020 election results cultivated in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol by his numerous supporters were the centers of talk between Welker and Trump during the meet the press session on Sunday at his Bedminster, New Jersey estate. Trump, despite facing legal woes managed to be at the forefront of the 2024 Republican nomination facing off against President Biden. Legal Woes Traced Back To Jan. 6 Riot

To date, avid supporters of Trump protested outside the U.S. capitol with many of them subsequently convicted. When Welker brought up Trump pardoning himself when given a chance to be re-elected as president, he instead said that those rioters who were involved in the protest must be the ones worthy of pardoning as some of them were jailed even though they did not enter the premise of the capitol. As for legal woes of forgiving himself, Trump said he had done nothing wrong.

Legal woes also circulated about his attempt to catapult Biden by talking to McCarthy which the latter denied any involvement in the case. For legal woes including a cease-fire between Russia and Ukraine, Trump avoided giving comments about his strategies to handle the issue as well as strategies if China were to invade Taiwan, saying only stupid people will give away substantial information like those.
