Stimulus Check for Families in Flint: A $1,500 Boost to Get Back on Their Feet
Michigan Introduces Rx Kids Scheme: A Lifeline for Young Parents and Pregnant Women
According to Marca, In a bold move to alleviate the pressure on struggling American families, Michigan is introducing a $1,500 stimulus check for residents of Flint as part of its Rx Kids scheme. The program aims to help young parents and pregnant women, and could even amount to $7,500 depending on household factors.
Under the program, pregnant women can receive a $1,500 stipend in the middle of their pregnancy, and an additional $500 for each month of the child’s first year of life. This means that families can receive a total of $7,500 to help them get back on their feet. The program also aims to combat the declining birth rate in the United States and ensure families can afford the basics.
