According to THE KANSAS CITY STAR, in a tragic turn of events that has deeply affected Kansas City, Kansas 21-year-old LaRon Jaka Belcher III faces severe charges of first-degree murder following a fatal shooting at Klamm Park. The victim 18-year-old Branden Jamal Baskin was discovered deceased by Wyandotte County Sheriff’s deputies who swiftly responded to the scene last weekend.
