Metro’s Concern and Support
According to FOX11 Los Angeles, a man was stabbed outside the North Hollywood Metro station in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. The attack happened shortly after he left the Metro B (Red) Line station at Lankershim and Chandler boulevards around 1:50 p.m. Reports suggest he was approached by someone but the reason is still unknown. The Los Angeles Police Department responded promptly saying a dispute between two people turned violent leading to the stabbing.
Metro officials expressed appreciation for the swift response of the LAPD and their immediate assistance to the victim. In a statement the agency conveyed deep concern over the incident and extended heartfelt wishes for the victim’s complete and rapid recovery. Eyewitness accounts indicated that the victim sustained stab wounds to the ribs and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. As of now the victim’s current medical condition has not been disclosed to the public.

Manhunt for Suspect in North Hollywood Stabbing
Detectives are currently pursuing the suspect responsible for stabbing a man outside the North Hollywood Metro station. The suspect described as a man dressed entirely in black fled the scene on a dark-colored bicycle toward the east parking lot adjacent to the station. However law enforcement has not disclosed details regarding the motive behind the stabbing or the specific circumstances leading up to the altercation which has left residents and commuters in the North Hollywood area unsettled.
