The program, which will last for one year had about 10,000 applicants but could only choose 150 families through a lottery. Participants like Patricia Cail and Nancy Ramirez are grateful for the support, saying it helps them with essential expenses and reduces their stress. Ramirez, a stay-at-home mom from Huron, called the help “a blessing,” showing how important it is for her family’s finances.
