She wanted to use Summer EBT to buy snacks and water for her kids but it’s taking a long time to get help.

Despite some problems, some states started their programs on time and the program is already helping many families. It shows that many families really need help getting food during the summer when schools don’t provide meals. For a long time, people have known that summer is a hard time to get food to kids.
