According to True Crime News, Robert Fisher a 34-year-old man from upstate New York has pleaded guilty to raping and killing a 3-year-old girl named Josefina Cunningham. The police found Josefina unresponsive at her home on July 7, 2023 and she was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center. Fisher had a prior criminal history and was arrested on multiple charges.

Fisher was charged with aggravated sexual abuse, assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. A grand jury later charged him with second-degree murder and first-degree rape. The Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office called the case “absolutely heinous and horrific” due to its devastating impact on the victim’s family.
