According to TheSuns, The Advancing Fresno County program is a way to help low-income families in California. It gives $500 a month for 12 months to 150 families with young children. The money is just for them to use as they want.

To be part of the program, families had to live in one of two areas, either southwest Fresno or Huron. They also had to have a child under 5 years old or be pregnant. And they had to make less than a certain amount of money each year.
