According to True Crime Daily, A 15-year-old girl was hurt very badly in a car accident in Texas. She was shot, burned, and sexually abused. This led to the arrest of her mom, Latonya Harris, and her partner, Terrence Washington. Harris and the girl went to the hospital, where doctors found out how badly she was hurt.

Washington told police that he had hurt the girl by shooting her twice over two days and hurting her in other ways too. Another child who was with them in the car said that one night, she woke up to find the girl’s body on fire, with Harris standing over her with a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a lighter. The girl didn’t get medical help, and police found evidence of a gun being fired at the home, with blood and a strong smell of sickness and death.
