His guilty plea earlier in February led to a 55-month term for the first count and 34 months for the subsequent two counts,, each of which would be served successively. This sentencing comes in the wake of Wicks’s prior conviction for the same offence in Jefferson County four years ago, which indicates a troubling pattern of criminal behaviour.
