According to the published article in The US Sun, Americans who were affected by a data breach at BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Services can now get money up to $7550 because of a settlement in a lawsuit. The data breach happened between October and November 2021. It’s said that the pharmacy didn’t protect people’s information well so hackers got into their systems. Even though BioPlus says it didn’t do anything wrong, people who were affected can ask for money to cover any expenses they had because of the data breach or if their Social Security numbers were stolen.
