This money will help people in low-income areas in Atlanta, Decatur, and Savannah. They can use it to put solar panels on their roofs. It’s part of a bigger plan called Solar for All which has $7 billion to give out for solar projects across the country. This is a big deal because it helps more people get clean energy and helps with money problems too.

The Capital Good Fund already has a program in Georgia called Georgia BRIGHT. With this new money, they can do even more. Over the next five years around 20,000 homes will get solar panels. This will create new jobs and help cut down on pollution. It’s not just about homes, though. The money will also help with job training and community projects. They’ll even use it to fix things like roofs if they need it.
